Confidentiality

When you come to No Limits you can talk in confidence about the things that matter to you.

THIS MEANS that we will not discuss you and your situation with anyone outside of No Limits.

BUT in exceptional circumstances, should you tell us something where you or someone else is in danger of harm, then we may need to share this information with someone else

If we do, you will always be kept informed and we will continue to work with and support you.

Confidentiality

1: When you come to No Limits anything & everything is confidential which means that it is private and will not be shared with anyone else without your permission.

2: This means that even the fact that you are or were in No Limits is confidential and will not be shared with anyone - even your friends or family.

3: We ask everyone to respect other Young People’s Right to use No Limits in confidence - this means please don’t talk about anyone that you’ve seen in the drop-in centres.

4: It is important to have this confidentiality at No Limits so that you know we can be trusted to keep your use of No Limits private.

5: Sometimes what may seem like nothing much is in fact really important to that young person - this is one of the reasons why we will not share anything about them.

Are there any exceptions??
Yes. In exceptional circumstances, should you tell us something where you or someone else is in danger of harm, then we may need to share this information with someone else. If we do, you will always be kept informed and we will continue to work with you and support you.
